We’re excited to announce a major step forward in our mission to simplify global payments.
Palremit is now partnering with J.P. Morgan Chase, one of the world’s leading financial institutions, to fast-track and facilitate USD transactions for our users.
What Is the J.P. Morgan Chase Partnership About?
This partnership unlocks faster and more reliable access to USD for Palremit users worldwide. By integrating directly with J.P. Morgan’s global banking network, we are bringing SWIFT pay-ins and payouts to the next level, with no more long delays or complex routing.
It is part of our long-term commitment to provide a seamless, secure, and modern experience for individuals and businesses moving money across borders.
Important Account Update
To make this transition as smooth as possible, here’s what you need to know:
- All Lead Bank USD accounts will be deactivated starting August 1st.
- Most accounts remain unaffected. However, if you completed Tier 3 KYC without an international passport, we will need you to upload one to continue accessing USD transfers. A short form will be sent directly to you. Filling it out helps us fast-track your account upgrade and ensure a smooth transition.
Why This Matters for Global Transfers
Moving USD in and out of Africa has always come with challenges. From delays and high fees to blocked transfers and poor transparency. At Palremit, we have worked hard to reduce those barriers.
Now, our partnership with J.P. Morgan Chase takes that effort even further. Whether you’re a freelancer getting paid from abroad, a student receiving support from family, or a business managing international transactions, this is an upgrade built with you in mind.
We’re building a payment experience where USD moves freely, without borders and stress.
What’s Next?
We’ll be rolling out these changes and will keep you updated every step of the way. If you have any questions or concerns during the transition, our support team is always available.
